With OTDR testing we identify fiber optic failures by locating the distance to the fault and identifying the type of event that caused the failure, whether it’s a break, a bend, a bad connector or an insertion loss.
Our close-out test package is software-based and shows the fiber link numerically along with a “trace” of the fiber under test.
